Tyre Limited Warranty Terms:
Every tyre sold through tyresworld.ae carries a limited warranty from its manufacturer, not from tyresworld.ae itself. The manufacturer covers manufacturing defects for one year, and whether a defect qualifies is decided by the manufacturer's authorized agent or representative in the region where the tyre was purchased. These local agents are also responsible for keeping their own version of these terms current on their respective websites.
This warranty applies only to the person who originally purchased the tyre and cannot be passed on to anyone else.
Should a buyer fit a tyre size other than what the vehicle manufacturer recommends, tyresworld.ae bears no responsibility whatsoever for the outcome β that risk sits entirely with the buyer.
Filing a Tyre Warranty Claim:
To open a warranty claim, customers need to produce the original purchase invoice sent to them by email.
Every tyre submitted under a claim gets sent off for inspection by the manufacturer's authorized representative, a process that typically takes two to three weeks.
Only that representative, once their investigation is complete, can decide whether a claim is approved.
Because this evaluation takes time, customers may need to buy replacement tyres out of pocket in the meantime.
Where a claim is approved, the reimbursement amount is calculated based on how much tread life remained, or how much of the tyre had already been used, at the time of inspection.
What the Warranty Doesn't Cover:
A claim will be rejected, or treated as invalid, under any of these circumstances:
- The tyre, tube, or flap was damaged through improper handling, use, or storage.
- The tyre has already reached or gone past the end of its usable tread life.
- The tyre was previously repaired, reconditioned, retreaded, or otherwise altered.
- The tyre fitted doesn't match the correct size, load index, or specification for the vehicle.
- The damage stems from the vehicle's own poor condition or upkeep β misalignment, unbalanced wheels, brake problems, worn suspension parts, or tyres that weren't rotated properly, for example.
- The failure resulted from incorrect tyre pressure, overloading, neglect, or exposure to oil, chemicals, or fire.
- The tyre was damaged during racing, off-road driving, an accident or collision, or from being driven while flat.
- Improper repair materials or techniques caused the damage.
- The damage came from a road hazard β cuts, punctures, impact breaks, bruising, or stone drilling, for instance.
- Any other damage traceable to misuse, neglect, or a failure to follow the manufacturer's care instructions or recommendations.
Car Batteries Warranty Policy:
Every car battery we sell is backed by the manufacturer's own warranty, typically running 12 months from the purchase date. Where a longer period applies, it will be noted on the invoice in parentheses.
Should a battery fail within its warranty period, the buyer needs to bring it back to the seller's premises to make a claim β we don't cover the cost of shipping a battery back to us.
For inspection purposes, the battery must be returned in sound condition, with its electrolyte intact and all manufacturer labels and markings still legible, so the cause of failure can be properly assessed.
Any credit or replacement offered will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, taking into account how much of the warranty period remains and how much the battery has been used.
When the Battery Warranty Doesn't Apply:
A battery warranty claim will be turned down if:
- The original purchase receipt can't be produced.
- The manufacturer's label or markings on the battery have been removed or tampered with.
- The battery shows physical damage β a cracked case, melted terminals, or similar.
- The battery has exploded or failed due to an internal circuit breaking down.
- The battery is returned with its electrolyte drained, or otherwise shows signs of mishandling.
- The vehicle's charging system runs at a voltage outside the manufacturer's recommended range.
- The battery was used or fitted for a purpose other than standard automotive use, or is the wrong type or capacity for the vehicle.
- The vehicle itself has faulty electrical components or wiring issues.
- The vehicle sat unused for an extended stretch, or was driven too rarely, causing the battery to discharge.
- The markings on the battery don't match those on the warranty card or purchase record.
Warranty on Services:
tyresworld.ae does not provide any warranty covering wheel alignment, wheel balancing, or other mechanical work carried out at our partner installers' facilities. Once a vehicle has been serviced and handed back to its owner, we take no responsibility for anything that subsequently happens to it.
Warranty on Spare Parts:
Aftermarket or used spare parts carry no warranty of any kind. Where genuine or original spare parts are fitted, any warranty on them is provided exclusively by the authorized parts distributor for that territory β not by tyresworld.ae.
